The steady diet of overwhelming news these days takes a toll, stirring up loneliness, anxiety and social divisions. In partnership with local artist jesikah maria ross we are cooking up ways to come together that feed positivity and connection, and we’re calling this Hope Café. It’s an experiment in building community and resilience.
Our menu offers up:
- Live music and poetry
- Community choirs
- Conversations about care, joy and possibility
- Drinks and snacks
Tuesday April 29 event features Davis Poet Laureate Mercedes Ibáñez and the Free Range Singers.
