Kick off the fall with an evening designed to build connection and community. Hope Café is a little bit workshop, a little bit party — a warm, welcoming space where live music, creative activities, and guided conversations invite you to pause, reconnect, and feel like you belong. All you need to do is show up with a curious mind and an open heart.

What to Expect:

Doors open at 6:30 PM with live world jazz by Nick Carvajal and Jim Frink plus complimentary drinks and snacks provided by the Davis Food Coop. Local vendors Jumi Shrub and Upper Crust Baking will be on hand with specialty food and beverages for purchase. The program kicks off at 7:15 and creative activities continue until around 8:45, after which guests are encouraged to linger and connect.

Sliding scale: $15 – $25. Free tickets are available upon request by emailing office@internationalhousedavis.org. Open to community members ages 14 and older.

Hope Café is created and led by jesikah maria ross, I-House’s inaugural Community Engagement Artist in Residence. This program is supported, in part, by a grant from the City of Davis Arts & Cultural Affairs program & Davis Food Co-op.
