A traditional cooking demonstration & conversation with Indigenous cultural practitioners.
The Aunties Monique Sonoquie and U’ilani will demonstrate traditional cooking techniques for Venison Stew, accompanied by acorn focaccia, salad and traditional teas. Following the demonstration, participants will eat together in community and learn about initiatives that are uplifting Indigenous and Native people and ways of being, facilitated by Indigiqueer Artivist and Curator yAyA Amezcua Porras.
