A Celebration of International Women’s Day 2024

Join us for an inspiring event in celebration of International Women’s Day, hosted by the United Nations Association of the USA – Davis Chapter. We are honored to feature Elke Damesyn, founder and director of the Institute for English Literacy, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing free online English and computer classes to girls and women in Afghanistan.

Come and be a part of this empowering presentation that sheds light on the transformative efforts to unleash the full potential of women in Afghanistan.

Stay for refreshments at the conclusion of the presentation to mingle with fellow attendees and engage in meaningful conversations. This is a FREE event, but donations for UNA programs and the Institute for English Literacy are welcomed.
