Fundraising Events

The major fundraising event for I-House is the International Festival Davis, a community celebration of “Unity in Diversity,” attracting people from the greater Davis and Sacramento communities. The inaugural festival on October 1, 2011 was held at the Veterans Memorial Center in Davis and was attended by up to 3,000 people. The family-oriented celebration included live music, dance, an international fashion show, food, craft sales, country tables, a children’s international village and educational presentations.

This year’s Festival will be even bigger and will take place on Saturday October 6, 2012 at the Veterans Memorial Center in Davis. More information is on the Festival website.  Funds raised from this event support our many programs and services that promote respect and appreciation for all people and cultures.

A new fundraiser to benefit I-House this year will be a BINGO afternoon organized by Davis Odd Fellows on September 9, 2012 at the Davis Odd Fellows Lodge in Davis. Please join us for the fun and support I-House at the same time.

I-House fundraisers in previous years have included an Annual Auction, a Carnitas Lunch on Picnic Day and a Harlem Ambassadors Basketball Game.
