Children’s International Storytelling Program
Children’s International Storytelling Programs are held one Sunday afternoon per month (except in December) in the Community Room of I-House from 2 to 3 pm. Doors open at 1:45. Each performance features the talents of various performers from Davis and the surrounding area. Every performance contains some form of international content. Performances may include drama, music, dance, puppetry as well as traditional storytelling. The program is designed for elementary school children in the 4 to 10 year range, but can be enjoyed by children of all ages. All children need to be accompanied by an adult.
The 2012-2013 Children’s International Storytelling Program is financially supported by a grant from TARGET. We are very grateful for this support. New Family Memberships and non-member donations at the door provide income for the program. Family Memberships can be purchased at International House Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 4:00 pm or at the Storytelling performances.
We hope you will join us at all the Storytelling Performances and will consider extending your involvement with I-House to become a member. We greatly appreciate the families, schools, organizations and businesses that support this program financially and with their attendance and publicity each year.
Please watch your local newspaper for more information or call I-House at 753-5007.
